glistening

snow crystals overhead appear as a cathedral, a winter solace, a place of solitude.
~

*photo taken by my friend and boot camp director; from my walk on sunday. it was a beautiful walk, that is a frozen bog in the distance and beyond that is where we come in from a long trail on the other side of the bog. it takes us through the woods and around to this side of the bog. and from here there's still 1/2 mile to home, and by now i'm surely whining that my knees hurt. from here we enter woods again, and there are 2 fallen trees i have to climb over, for which i get a helping hand each time, thankfully--and then right on target i trip on a tiny little root in the ground. boot camp. i swear it's boot camp.

I don't know what a boot camp is. lol
But I can see that it's very beautiful!
You're inspiring me. I'm not feeling fine and you're making me see that the answer is... out there.
I have to make some changes.
I'm glad you're doing it even with your knees aching.
Congratulations Stephany!

What a gorgeous and serene picture. Wouldn't it be great, though, if it could be warm and that pretty? Don't ask for much, do I?

Hope you're doing well, Steph. Sorry that I haven't been around lately.

You better watch out for the big bad wolf while you are out walking in the woods. Maybe you need to drink a glass of wine to help you with your whine.
