the frozen lake

keeps summer

waiting while snow

falls

protected under the ice

lily flowers

wait to bloom

winter is like

love.

not sure if it is official Haiku but i tried. lol

also, during this walk today, the sun was shining (for the first time in weeks) and it was snowing little snowballs, and it was like being inside a snowglobe.

koda never saw a duck in person before, it was like taking a toddler to a zoo.
