good morning

gather up your positives and place them all in one basket, then scatter them at your feet on the path in front of you today, so each step you take is on positive ground.it's early in the day here and i've had to do that. go out into the woods and absorb the peace it offers so freely, listen to the birds singing and feel that instead of the negative that woke me this morning. sometimes, instead of feeling a battle was won, it feels like it's just over without an ending. one of the positives in my basket is to be thankful i was able to take my daughter on errands yesterday. things like the post office.
~
The love story these two share has brought me to tears. Their devotion to one another is inspiring, as they write their journeys on 2 blogs, i am sobered by their love and compassion, and the pure and raw writing from the heart makes me stop in my tracks, and all of my worries appear trivial. herrad, and richie are inspiring me every day with their honesty, courage and they have become a true symbol of hope for me. this post by richie touched my heart, as i sat and read it last night, i cried. spike, the dog has a special place in my heart. Thanks,to Matthew Holford, by giving his dream and creation of the A Hoy Award, because passing that on has given many people support and inspiration by finding each other in the blogosphere.
~
With that in mind, I am awarding 3 more Inspirational Blog Awards:

Richie, author of 'A place to scream' where he writes with eloquence and compassion, love and truth about his partner who is dianosed with progressive multiple sclerosis.

Matthew Holford, author of 'It's quite an experience, creator of the A Hoy award, a logical thinker, and a person who always has given me much to think about.

Bob Fiddaman, author of Seroxat Sufferers-stand up and be counted, for his endless, steadfast campaigning to expose the truth behind Paxil(Seroxat)and GSK(GlaxoSmithKline).

be inspired today.

You're very kind, and coming from a person with 40 followers, I'm humbled to be regarded as "inspirational," to be honest! Marcie Lipsitt didn't appear to be inspired by me, that's for sure!

Have I to pay this on, in the usual way?

Matt

Hi Stephany -

Thanks for helping me find these great blogs. There's so much to look forward to in experiencing these writers.

Reading your blog leaves me speechless too. I don't know whether I'm feeling joyful and inspired, righteously angry, or moved to tears by the hard road you and your daughter have to travel. Of course, it's all of the above. What you go through sounds like the weather we're having in northern california - a storm rolls in, wraps us in darkness, then rolls out, a day or two of refreshing sun, then a storm rolls in, wraps us in darkness, then rolls out, a day or two of sun - and so on. Your resilience, even in pain, amazes - and inspires - me.

My love to you - and remember that fitness is a flexible notion, far different at 49 than at 19 - not an unattainable ideal to measure yourself against. (Damn, I should follow that advice!)
