yesterday i was out most of the day and we had lunch with my middle daughter. we took the long walk in the afternoon, admired the near full moon last night, and today ate a lemon filled donut and bacon and eggs. i guess not having anything too dramatic to write is a good thing isn't it? send some blog support over to the author of 'One Bipolar Life', because she's really dragging after a long haul with depression and she needs to get back to her support community! have a great day today everyone!

*photos of the lake on part of the walk yesterday afternoon. a bald eagle nest is in the trees(one flew overhead), there are snowgeese, ducks and of course one magnificent siberian husky to take in the view too.

Lovely surroundings to be in!
Beautiful pictures!
I didn't know PreciousRock was depressed. I thought she was tapering off Risperdal.
Have a nice afternon!
Stephany,
Awesome pictures. Quiet is good!
Those are awesome photos!
Lovely photos! Sounds like that was very relaxing!
Thanks for the reminder of what life looks like when it's not obliterated by six feet of snow. Thank you, thank you. You know I love the woods, the ponds, the ducks and geese. All frozen now, and me with it.
These low drama, lemon-filled doughnut days are the stuff of which life is made. You're much younger than me, Stephany, but here's quote for you. As I near my 61st birthday it becomes more precious to me, but you don't have to wait that long to get into the zen of it all:
"The woman who has a gift for old age is the woman who delights in comfort. If warmth is known as the blessing it is, if your bed, your bath, your best-liked food and drink are regarded as fresh delights, then you know how to thrive when old." Florida Scott-Maxwell
Here's to lemon-filled doughnuts and beautiful Siberians with whom to share them.
Best wishes from snowy NH,
Sherry
You all made my day!
You know the thing is--I have had this right here and I never used it, appreciated it like I am now. It took some work for me to get outside and not have it be about anything but enjoying the moment.
big ((HUG)) to you Sherry for sharing that GREAT quote! and your thoughts.(you can see the lake frozen with ducks standing on it on my serendipity dog blog)
I actually today, feel like I can be, so I will take it when it's here and i'm feeling it.
I went and took my youngest out this afternoon, no words from her but she went along and I think was "just being" too.
I just got home from today's walk --it's daylight until 5:30pm here now.
Time to cook!
The photos are so beautiful, full of pure tranquility. Thanks for sharing them and passing on the peace within.
"Just being" is a good place to be. I strive to do that every day.
Finally home after my visit with Hannah. She did let me visit, only for 10 minutes. I left and headed home. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hurting, but once at home I had the other 2 waiting and needing some mom attention.
Thanks again for all of your support. It helps me so much.
XXXXXXX
Cheryl,
It's ok to feel all of the often conflicting feelings in your situation. I know, from having been there far too long. It is days like these now for me that I can look at a lake like this and allow the peace and the healing for myself. You'll all make it through this.
Oh yes!
Your pictures have me feeling excited about Spring! I, too, am living in deep snow! The snow is beautiful, for sure! However, I am simply tiring of the cold weather!
Beautiful scenery, Stephany! :)
Hopeful Heart
