Ana has awarded me the passionate blogger award. Thanks Ana! sometimes, I think I get too passionate in my writings and freak people out. (scare people)I think a lot and my blog varies with what's happening in my garden to my mental health system concern, because my daughter is still in the system and it's not such a great one when a kid ends up on medicaid by age 18 due to insurance being at a lifetime cap for inpatient hospital stays as reason. i'm not so sure everyone always understands the crappy places i've been with her, there are either regular hospital floors with psych units or shit-holes that resemble jails with cold tile floors and paper bag lunches with the same old sandwich day in and day out. i've seen people have severe, and i mean severe permanent tremors, shaking and quivering lips. there are days it all haunts me. as time, physical time passes, the better that gets. but that's why i write passionately about mental health, is because we cannot forget what happened, and still is happening in this system, that has really what outcome for care? i'm sick of reading about unethical behavior of professionals, and sick of how the FDA approves a drug, then years later the drug is in court for data burying, or because of lawsuits from deaths or permanent body damage like zyprexa and seroquel. those things never had to happen.
well there goes another ramble, a repeat of what i always drone on about here. thanks for thinking of me with the award Ana.

you are indeed a passionate woman Stepnanie, blogger or otherwise...
love to you!
Congrats on the award.if you get too pasionate well so what.I prefer a pasionate blogger that a generic no info blog.
Just keep doing what your doing. It's nice to get a mix of your attack the Pharma post and your personal struggle with every day life. That is what we're all living in after all.
Yippee!
Congratulations.
You deserve Stephany. And you don't need to explain why you are passionated by this subject.
Why do we feel as if you should be doing another thing?
We are dealing with one of the most big scandals of the history of medicine.
We should be proud of dedicating our time, sometimes life, to this.
Love you a lot,
Ana
