these are narcissus bulbs i've had growing in a pot in the kitchen. their fragrance is gentle and they look happy. i went on my walk yesterday without one bit of pain, mowed the grass and embraced the coming of spring in my mind. have a good day, always look up.

dvd rental movie recommendations: "the changeling" and "flash of genius". both are compelling, based on true stories of triumph and never giving up. i need to say, that "changeling" was challenging in parts for me to watch, without giving anything away here, i'd like to say to be ready emotionally to watch it. i can discuss many topics as a result of that movie, but maybe once a few people tell me they've seen it we can talk about how it affected you or what memories or painful experience it triggered, and how though, in the end, it still shows damn good reason to never give up.

The bulbs are beautiful.
I have been wanting to see the Changeling ever since it came out. I found out it is now on Pay for View, so it is on my list for this weekend. I never heard of the second movie, but am going to check it out.
A friend of mine went to Grand Torino, with Clint Eastwood. She said it was amazing and had the same effect that you described.
