this is a photo of an old cherry tree on the side of my house. it looms overhead and is just covered in white pom poms of flowers. when they start to fall off, each spring i always love how they flutter through the yard and look like snow, like a snow globe of flower petals. that's the world i love, is the flowers. i have planted a lemon scented thyme plant in the planter box and will add a geranium when i can find one. today my daughter didn't say a word, but wow did she communicate. i picked her up early and she had a look on her face where i knew she needed something, so she walked toward her room and she pointed to her bed that needed bedding. so she got it and made the bed and we went to mcdonald's and she sat down inside at a table which is really big for her. she was off in her own world a bit, people know what i mean. then off to the lab which is always hard because her veins are shot from a decade of blood tests. she's brave. she always goes to ice cream afterward and today she took her allowance and walked inside and pointed to the kinds she wanted and paid herself, another big deal. anyway, it was a good day. enough rambling i'm kind of tired of writing the same thing all of the time. went on an evening walk and saw the white trillium that turned pink, is now purple. the sky had a nice sunset and the half moon was pretty.Thursday, April 30, 2009

Don't stop sharing your day even if it seems boring to you. I find it interesting and inspiring how dedicated you are to your daughter. I used to enjoy those early evening walks momma and I would take. when the moon and the sun we're out at the same time.
thanks Mark! it stays daylight out here late (up to after 10 pm in the summer)so it is really cool to see the moon while the sun is setting. Really good clear view of it last night, and the bog we walk around has bullfrogs croaking loudly.
