31 days of May

the floral world has exploded and here is another rhododendron that bloomed today. i love this one, it has the deep purple color and it's sensual in appearance.the bees were buzzing wildly about the flowers.

i'm preparing for the work week, laundry washing and my badge in the purse and the (ugh) alarm clock is set. it's been hard worrying about my daughter while at work, even though i can get there after work, it's the worry-wart part of me. today i took her to eat lunch and gave her a stack of quarters for the soda machine and she was really happily smiling about that and put them in her pocket. i talk a lot to her about the heat (it's been unseasonably warm) and how she needs to keep cool and drink liquids, etc. and gave her ideas of sitting under a tree and drawing in the shade etc. teaching kids that are 7 or 8 years old has been fun and of course i remember my daughter at age 8 was reading level comprehension age 29 college level, and then by the time she was 18 it was reversed to 2nd grade (typical) level.anyway, it's a beautiful evening, we went on a walk and i was overheated and whine about my weight. just now as i was typing a raccoon walked up the driveway and the cat is looking out the window at it. the best advice for those who are in a difficult part of life, is from me to say just persevere. oh, and bless my car it has karma and still gets me from point A to B.

just persevere.

and just for fun a cute song that i like
