Thank goodness. I will continue to pray for you and send positive energy your way. I hope in the mean time you can find an alternative to that nasty place.

Steph, I woke this morning thinking of you. I prayed. I will continue to do so. Let me know what I can do from here other than that. You know I will and know I care.

thank you for the support and prayers and everything, it was grueling, winning 8 days felt like i won an eternity.

dec 8th, tuesday i'll be in front of the judge. today the info i presented was used behind the scenes in court, now the heat is on big time on the 8th.

very tired

Just a backseat driver comment here.
I know YOU don't like to see your daughter tied up for court on the gurney , but if she can talk to the judge and say what she wants when asked what do you want, and seem somewhat coherent, the judge may be more inclined to believe she is not dangerous enough to lock up.

Yes, Mark, so far she won't talk to many people and i had asked the attorney yesterday if she should be in court herself and he thought it might work against her in front of the judge to be incoherent, (example of not stabilized like the hospital says). by dec 8th, i will probably tell the attorney to have her be there, because, no matter what the hosp usually wins unless i find an alternative housing (they won't agree to home ive experienced this before, their talons are dug in deep into their patient they want in the system)where she can go the way she is now i will lose in court.

So, that means in my opinion the judge and prosecuting side should see in person exactly the vulnerable person they are going to send there, and i will be of course then, be bringing up the dangerous aspects of the institution and making sure they all go home that day with L's life and safety on their conscious.

PS they are using a danger to self against her because of her past history of wandering, and going down roads, and that falls into lack of ability to keep one self safe--the reasons are very broad in this arena, and the odds are stacked against her. but i will be doing everything possible to prevent it, and if it happens, i won't be going w/out an annoucment to the ward that she is being watched by media outlets.
