movement

had a treatment team meeting, without being on the calendar today, when i went to visit. yesterday we demanded the treatment plan be known, and of course there was not one. the ball is now rolling for another meeting next week and a discharge plan to be created immediately. the pressure is on, because all of this talk still is not action. still no outside time, they count the wrought iron fenced in patio as "fresh air space". tomorrow is my daughter's birthday, and we are taking her cake and hope somehow tomorrow can feel somewhat like a birthday in that place. they are under pressure and for good reason. she is still silent, day 3, and she stayed in the visiting room when they rushed in to talk--and she stood there with tears rolling down her face, i told them that means something. it's still crappy, but the heat on the burner will remain on high until she is discharged.

So did anyone say anything when you told them her crying meant something? Damn that pisses me off.

no, i actually stopped the meeting and directed them to look at my daughter who was standing there crying, it's pretty much making them see her and anyone else for that matter out of the box and as human beings.
