Zyprexa Gets FDA Approval For Use In Adolescents

Via, Furious Seasons:

Another approval today for a controversial antipsychotic, Zyprexa has made approval from the US FDA for use in teens.

I repeat, and again, I repeat

Zyprexa caused my daughter to gain 100lbs in less than one year at age 11, her eyes would have ocular crisis and often could not look down, therefore would be sent home from junior high school because she could not read her text books. Having a friend or student help her walk down 2 flights of stairs, while your eyes are stuck looking up isn't exactly the way life should be going at that age.

Either is having boys call you the "beast" when you gained 100 lbs between 5th grade and 7th grade.

Life shouldn't be this way for anyone, and that is all I can say now.

Just exactly what is the FDA's role again?
