golden moments
presenting wings for all to see while standing on a log in the lake, was a heron in front of me, while my daughter stood beside me in the afternoon sun.
Well, I only had the cell phone to take a photo, so the bottom photo is slightly zoomed in, but anyway, this heron was standing that way for 30 minutes, across to the right was another one standing on a log too, I think this one was the male showing off for spring to the other.

"Stephany is a passionate voice of reason in an insane world of mental health. She writes with the heart of a lion, and the soul of an angel. Her words pierce your mind simply and profoundly to it's very core. she expresses eloquently through thought prevoking post which can bring both a smile to your face and tears to your eyes. She is in my top ten of mental health blogs without doubt. " - Stan

A great photo! A hard picture to take in my experience, the Herons are very nervous and fly away when any humans are close.
