when the phone calls arrive via my cell phone it says, "unavailable" on the caller I.D.

OVER the last decade I have received so many phone calls about my daughter, I have had to change ringer tones, etc. because I seriously hear it in my sleep, during the day and anytime in between. The school would phone me when she was in junior high and high school, even while i was working in the school nearby, doing the same job these people were doing.

that is when i vowed to never phone a mother from school to pick up their child or rant, as i had received the calls so many times--i worked long hours to give the other mothers a break, because i knew it might be their only one. the only respite in their day, was when their child was in school.

so the calls came the last two days

and today's call reminded me of the old school days, yet this was a social worker who has stepped up to the plate, and has taken on the task of caring for my daughter when i cannot. inside of the state institution.
