$5967.00 for a lifetime body damage - diabetes settlement: Exclusive documents from the Seroquel Lawsuit Blog --AstraZeneca payout equals chump change

Exclusive plaintiff/claimant Miller Firm documents: via the Seroquel Lawsuit Blog

This claimant does not have Medicaid, Medicare or a Private healthcare lien being taken out of final sum, imagine if the plaintiff had more deductions! It appears that the law firms come out smelling like a rose! What would you do if you took a prescribed medication and became diabetic as a result? would you sue the pharmaceutical company? would you have expected to receive more than this in a settlement? What about all of the internal documents that show AstraZeneca KNEW Seroquel could cause diabetes? What about Study 15? The illegal marketing and DoJ fine of $520 million in April 2010? do the plaintiffs just walk away with varied chump change amounts and live with their diabetes, and consider themselves part of "business as usual"? Will this set the stage for possible future litigation for Abilify or Latuda or Saphris? would you settle and take the low ball offer?

GO read the rest of the documents from the Miller Firm's Seroquel settlement packet at the Seroquel Lawsuit blog.

Sadly, litigation is all about money. It is designed to force the 'other side' to settle before it reaches court.

The amount each of these individuals have been offered is, to be honest, insulting!

That is chump change.

To be honest, I don't know what I would do other than explode into a million pieces and what good would that do?
